VEML6070 is an advanced ultraviolet light sensor built using CMOS technology and equipped with an I2C communication interface. It measures UV intensity and converts it directly into digital data making integration with microcontroller systems simple. The sensor integrates a photodiode amplifier and analog to digital circuitry in one chip providing stable readings and high accuracy. It features temperature compensation adjustable sensitivity via external resistor and interrupt alert capability when thresholds are reached. Low power consumption and software shutdown mode make it ideal for battery powered devices and long term UV monitoring applications.
