Adjustable pulse generator with NE555 and frequency up to 200 kHz
Article no: 3781
Information about this module is generated with the help of AI. The description may be incomplete, inaccurate, or subject to change.
The NE555 Pulse Module is a compact pulse generator based on the well known NE555 timer circuit. The module can be used to generate adjustable square wave signals and pulses for electronics experiments, development and control of other circuits.
The output frequency can be adjusted over a wide range and the module provides four frequency ranges. The lowest range is 1 Hz to 50 Hz, followed by 50 Hz to 1 kHz, 1 kHz to 10 kHz and 10 kHz to 200 kHz. This makes the module suitable for both slow pulses and faster square wave signals.
The module can for example be used as a signal generator for experiments with microcontrollers, to generate pulses for stepper motor drivers or to control other digital and electronic circuits. The frequency is easily adjusted using the control on the module.
An LED indicates the output signal, making it easy to see whether the module is operating. At relatively low frequencies, the LED indication can also be seen as a flashing light.
The module operates from a 5 V to 15 V DC power supply and is therefore easy to use with common power supplies, batteries and electronic development systems.
